Picture Graphs

We are learning to gather our information into Picture Graphs.

We looked at what different nationalities we have in our class and we learnt that we have 8 different nationalities in our class.

We used pictures to present our information and we could see that Samoa had the most and that New Zealand and Tonga had 4 each.

Beebots find their way

Room 1 have been learning about position and direction as part of their mathematics programme.  Mrs Robyns has been bringing the Beebots and Constructabots to class. By the sixth week all of the children could make the robots do quarter turns, half turns and move forwards or backwards.
